Gabriela S. Montaner has served as a Relationship Manager for Highland Capital Brokerage since 2022. In that capacity, she works with the Relationship Management team, handling VP sales and strategy within institutional accounts and some IBD/RIAs. Gabriela has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. In close partnership with the Highland Vice Presidents, she specializes in helping the independent and institutional advisors build and preserve their clients’ wealth.
Prior to Highland, Gabriela worked as a Bilingual Retirement Client Specialist at Vanguard, in their 401(k) department. Most of her industry experience has been in the retail bank channels. Most recently, she worked at Key Investment Services where she quickly moved up the ranks to become a licensed banker, and later became an associate advisor supporting a senior financial advisor.
Gabriela’s dynamic background in retirement planning and wealth transfer has been instrumental in helping to partner and build relationships with advisors at Highland. She uses a consultative sales process and various assessment tools to offer a range of investment strategies that help close the sale, while providing the best level of service to the client.
She holds her Life and Health Insurance license, and the FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.
Gabriela lives in Tucson, Ariz., with her husband and three young daughters (Zahra, Rosalia, and Catalina). She is multicultural and bilingual in English and Spanish. She appreciates Oregon wine country, where she grew up, and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
