Greg Barber, CFP® serves as Internal Sales Consultant for Highland Capital Brokerage. With more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, Greg specializes in providing top-notch sales and marketing support to a variety of producers. His clients range from financial advisors who have never sold insurance previously to independent agents with 30+ years of experience, and everyone in between. He takes a consultative approach and delivers advice in a way that meets the producer’s unique needs. Specific areas of expertise include estate planning, long-term care, business planning, wealth transfer, retirement planning, and overall asset protection.
Greg has spent most of his career at Highland Capital Brokerage, leaving the company for 2.5 years to join the actuarial team for Lombard International, a carrier specializing in the sales and administration of private placement life insurance and annuities. He re-joined Highland in November 2016 and has continued providing expert guidance in increasingly client-facing situations.
Greg holds the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation, the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
He resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife and 2 dogs. He enjoys golfing, following the local sports teams, and gardening.
