About
Kathryn Harrison, CFP® serves as Managing Director, Signature Private for Highland. Kathryn has been in the financial services industry more than 35 years. Kathryn’s strong interpersonal skills have led to long-term industry relationships. With a background as a CPA and a CFP®, she embraces a holistic planning approach.
Kathryn spent more than a decade serving as Managing Director, helping to build the Estate & Business Planning Group at First Republic Bank, now JPMorgan Chase. With a deep knowledge in insurance solutions, she focuses on creative ways to help affluent clients preserve and transfer wealth.
Kathryn began her career at Arthur Andersen. Her experience includes roles as a Partner and Director of Insurance for Astera Financial Group, Director of Professional Partnerships for ValMark Securities, and a Partner in BPM Goldman, a multiuser family office group.
Kathryn has been a frequent speaker on the issues surrounding building professional partnerships. She is very involved in her community, having served on the Endowment Committee for the Women’s Fund of Monterey County and is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Carmel Sunset Cultural Center.
Personally, she enjoys tennis, pickleball, and other outdoor activities.
