Lisa McLeod is an Underwriting Consultant for Highland Capital Brokerage. Her work within the financial services industry began in 1989 and she specializes in impaired risk underwriting. She strongly believes in building solid relationships with producers and carrier partners, while always seeking to obtain the best solution for the client.
Before joining Highland in 2009, Lisa began her insurance career at Western-Southern Life, eventually transitioning into brokerage with Insurance Designers.
Lisa’s earned her AALU designation and is currently working towards her FALU. Additionally, she believes strongly in continuing education and runs study groups to help others further their educational pursuits.
A native of New Orleans, Lisa currently lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, two sons, and a variety of fur babies. She is passionate about animal welfare, has a love of impressionist art, and gardening. She also enjoys going to the beach and Disney World.
